In consideration of COVID-19 concerns,  our hotel will provide a 15,000 square foot ballroom for the competition to host in. This new, spacious floor plan, along with our explicit following of CDC protocols, will provide dancers with the appropriate space for social distancing and an environment where they can compete with confidence.

The safety of our community is our top priority, we hope that by providing this information you can make an informed decision about attending Texas Classic 2021.

Masks are required throughout the hotel, except for while dining in the bar area.
Masks are required in the ballroom including while spectating.
Masks are optional while competing.

We will have a large dance floor with small heats to allow for distancing.

Dressing rooms are very large and situated outside the ballrooms to allow for distancing.

No line up. Enter competition floor from your table.

Choose from Green, yellow and red wristbands for your comfort.
Green= Comfortable with chatting, hugging, etc
Yellow= Open to socialize but with caution.
Red= Wanting to stay distanced. Greet from 6 feet.

Hand sanitizing stations will be situated around the ballroom.

Sorry we will not be hosting WSDC or Workshops this year. 


Texas Classic will continue to monitor the WHO and CDC website for updates. We will reevaluate as the event date approaches.
